Past Outstanding Abstract Award Winners

Every year the first author of the outstanding abstract submitted to the Annual Conference on Peritoneal Dialysis is awarded a plaque and cash award on behalf of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis. The award is presented to the recipient during the conference.

Since 1990, the first authors of the two best submitted abstracts in the field ofpediatrics also receive a plaque and cash award; these winners are also listed below. Baxter Healthcare Corporation sponsors these two pediatric awards.

In 1997, the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis created a new award for the best nursing abstract. This year the award was shared by two winners.
